Recipient of the 2016 AACC Outstanding Scientific Achievements by a Young Investigator Award

Dr. Mari DeMarco, Clinical Chemist at St. Paul's Hospital, is the recipient of the 2016 American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) Outstanding Scientific Achievements by a Young Investigator Award.

Unbeknownst to Dr. DeMarco, she was nominated by six of her mentors for the award.  Dr. DeMarco will formally receive the award at the opening plenary session of the 68th AACC Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo on July 31, 2016.
