2018 MSFHR Research Trainee Award Recipients

Dr. Junyan Shi and Dr. Serena Singh, UBC Postdoctoral Research Fellows working with Dr. Mari DeMarco, Clinical Chemist at St. Paul’s Hospital, are recipients of the 2018 Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (MSFHR) Research Trainee Award.

Their project titles are:

• Dr. Shi - Targeting The Complement System In Alzheimer’s Disease.
• Dr. Singh - Alpha-Synuclein And Its Modified Forms As Biomarkers For Dementia With Lewy Bodies.
