2017 UBC Pathology Early Career Research & Discovery Award

Dr. Mari DeMarco, Clinical Chemist at St. Paul's Hospital, has received the 2017 Early Career Research & Discovery Award from the UBC Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.  Dr. DeMarco's laboratory focuses on diagnostics for neurodegenerative disease and clinical (applied) proteomics.  Dr. DeMarco will also be presenting on Recent Advances in CSF analysis in Cognitive Impairment at the Canadian Neurological Sciences Federation 52nd Congress on June 21, 2017.
