On June 1, 2015 the Mount Saint Joseph laboratory went to 24-hour service. As a result of the added shift and a very detailed Lean workflow review project, morning bloodwork results are now reported before 9am almost 90 per cent of the time. This is a huge achievement for the lab as they are also coping with a large increase in workload and accreditation activities.
As of September 26, 2015 the MSJ laboratory has completed this accreditation cycle and been awarded full accreditation by the Diagnostic Accreditation Program of B.C. Congratulations to all the MSJ laboratory staff!
